For the past 15 years, we have been dedicated to working with data, and during this time, we have learned a lot 💡🤓. We not only teach but also shape individuals. We create a talent that is scarce and not abundant.
Opening doors for those who want to enter the world of data breaks down barriers and brings possibilities for them to learn, transform, and grow.
Data is the past, and building a future based on them requires diverse talent in quantitative, qualitative, and technical skills.
We educate all kinds of audiences, from those who know very little to data ninjas. Throughout this journey, in every webinar, in every meeting, in many messages we receive on social media, the question is always the same: Do you offer courses? And the answer has always been, ‘It depends. Yes, we provide training in companies, to their teams, but not to individuals.’
To change that, for the past two years, we have been working on the development of an educational platform open to the general public. We named it GROW because it’s all about growth.
In the technology industry, there are increasingly more people looking to enter, seeking reskilling and upskilling from traditional careers to digital or data careers.
While shaping this project, during the pandemic years, we organized a series of four open webinars in which we shared the fundamental foundations of data & analytics with over 500 participants. These sessions were not technical. We didn’t discuss technologies or difficult tools. We talked about contexts, concepts, disciplines, skills (and how much we were bored with lockdown).
We decided that this content had to be shared, that it couldn’t remain stored in a cloud folder. That’s why we reviewed all the videos, organized them by themes, divided and edited them, gave them the shape of a program, and assembled them on a platform.
Starting today, it’s available for free for anyone who wants to begin learning about data.
If this program were a video game, it would be level 1; if it were a book, it would be the prologue; if it were a hit series, it would be the pilot. We call it ‘First Steps in the World of Data’ because it is precisely where one should start. The course provides a general overview of how the world of data is composed. It is designed for those who want to take their first steps, learn the key concepts of data & analytics, architectures, and data science, and, of course, incorporate them as tools into their daily lives.
This is not aimed at those with experience in data. For those individuals, we are working on much more specific and advanced training. This is for beginners, for those who are curious, and, above all, eager to learn something completely new!
